Emerging from the sludge, new London band Slow Pulp have released new single 'Montana', alongside visuals from Marie Hahn, following three standout singles (‘At It Again', ‘Idaho', and last month's 'Falling Apart’). Taken from their debut album Moveys (out on 9th October via Winspear), the new track sees strung out acoustic guitar strums meet juicy, pop vocal melodies that are projected with a soft depression, making them all the more alluring. Slide guitar and harmonica from Willie Christianson add a tinge of Mazzy Star. Slow-Pulp’s 'Montana' would suit a long drive through American desert expanses - it's yet another triumph for the exciting shoe-gaze newcomers. -Ellie Rose-Davies
